Health & Fitness Class

Through a collaboration, a dedicated trainer from Kenzie’s Kids is providing engaging weekly one-hour group classes, in person, here at our learning center.

This engaging physical fitness and health course helps children build strong bodies, healthy habits, and a positive attitude toward movement. Through fun games, age-appropriate exercises, and interactive activities, students improve strength, coordination, flexibility, and endurance while learning why physical activity, nutrition, hydration, and rest are important for overall well-being. The class emphasizes teamwork, goal-setting, and self-confidence, encouraging children to discover activities they enjoy and develop lifelong habits that support a healthy, active lifestyle.

Our trainer, Nicole, focuses not only on physical activities, but also explaining why each movement is beneficial and how it is supporting the participant’s overall health. All sessions are interactive and educational, with an emphasis on body awareness, proper movement patterns, and building lifelong healthy habits in a fun and engaging way! Nicole is extremely comfortable working with students of all abilities, including those with sensory sensitivities. Relationship building is also a core part of our approach, Nicole prioritizes meeting each child where they are at while creating an environment where each child feels safe and supported!

Activities and topics vary, but students will have input on topics and activities based on their interests.
