Gifted Identification Testing

Our testing is unique, because we do it right!

We:

  • Test only in small groups, or individually, with an experienced educator

  • Provide a comfortable, no stress environment

  • Take time to get to know the children, ensure they are comfortable, and explain the test thoroughly before we start. We completely explain each section of the test and go through sample problems allowing students to ask questions and become familiar with and understand exactly what each section is asking for.

  • Use the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) because it is the most trusted and widely accepted group test available.

  • Use the complete CogAT test, not just a screening version. This allows for a full report and is approved for placement into gifted services throughout the country. This test is officially approved through the Arizona Department of Education and is to be accepted for program placement at all Arizona public schools.

  • Students test on secure laptops, taking breaks, in between sections, as needed.

  • Provide detailed testing reports.

Testing takes between 2.5 and 3 hours. Children should not have tested, with the same test level of the CogAT, before our testing session. We are able to test students age 5 - through high school. We test no more than 8 students at a time, and prefer to test in groups of two to three children. Students can bring a snack and/or water bottle with them if they desire.

Cost $350

Testing dates are by appointment, and can occur anytime throughout the year.
