Beginner, intermediate, and advanced Spanish students are invited to participate in an engaging, hands-on STEAM club that will immerse them in a Spanish-speaking environment. Students will create science experiments and/or complete science/art projects and receive instruction and feedback from the instructor in Spanish (support in English will be provided, when necessary). Fun and uplifting environment with a take-home science project! New topics and projects will be introduced each month. No previous experience required.

Grades 2-8 (younger/older students allowed with permission - email Inquiries@TheGiftedCollective.com)
Fee
$30 per student, per meeting date (billed on a monthly basis)
Instructor
Brenda Serna has over 30 years of Spanish-speaking, teaching, translating, and bi-cultural experiences. She has a fundamental understanding of Castellano Spanish with a Mexican flair. Brenda has a unique ability to teach Spanish from the perspective of a beginner/intermediate student while keeping the goal of being able to communicate immediately and fluently in the future. Brenda has a BS in General Biology degree (with a minor in Spanish), has studied medicine in Mexico, and has extensive experience working with the Latino population in the United States.
