Private sessions are available with Brenda Serna in-person* or online (via Zoom). These sessions are targeted for ages 5+ and are customizable, based on age, experience with the Spanish language, and on goals. Students will be encouraged to speak Spanish from the first session and will be supported with pronunciation. Based on the student’s goals, Brenda can suggest a Spanish curriculum (parents would need to purchase the curriculum separately and provide the teacher manual to Brenda). Levels available include: following along with a Spanish curriculum, basic vocabulary, verb conjugation, phrases, medical Spanish, and more!
Students can meet with Brenda as often as desired, depending upon Brenda’s availability.
*In-person sessions will take place at The Gifted Collective, located at 15255 N 40th St. #147 Phoenix, AZ 85032 (40th Street & Greenway Road).
Instructor
Brenda Serna has over 30 years of Spanish-speaking, teaching, translating, and bi-cultural experiences. She has a fundamental understanding of Castellano Spanish with a Mexican flair. Brenda has a unique ability to teach Spanish from the perspective of a beginner/intermediate student while keeping the goal of being able to communicate immediately and fluently in the future. Brenda has a BS in General Biology degree (with a minor in Spanish), has studied medicine in Mexico, and has extensive experience working with the Latino population in the United States.
Hourly Fee: $65 per student per hour*
*Promo: ten (10) prepaid sessions for $600
Refund Policy: No refunds are provided for any reason other than if the instructor cancels the scheduled session.
