This workshop is designed for parents who want to deepen their connection with their neurodiverse children through more effective, respectful communication. Educators are also welcome as many strategies are directly applicable to supporting these children in your classroom. Together, we’ll explore practical tools and strategies that support trust, reduce power struggles, and strengthen your relationship with your child.
You’ll learn how to:
Recognize and adapt to your child’s unique communication style
Use co-regulation and validation to foster emotional safety
Set clear boundaries without shutting down connection
Navigate meltdowns, shutdowns, and misunderstandings with calm and compassion
Whether your child is autistic, has ADHD, or simply experiences the world differently, this class will help you build a stronger, more collaborative relationship through communication that meets them where they are.
