Novel Study
This spring Mr. Laningham will be pulling small groups from our microschool to read some of his favorite novels! This will give students a chance to read rich literature, participate in some creative activities, and engage in deep discussions. We are opening this us to nonerolled students, and any child in the age range listed is welcome to join us!
Our first novel: Novel My Brother Sam is Dead
Meetings will consist of one or two 60 minute classes a week. Registration will be limited to only 8 students total per group.

Have a copy of the book ready for our first meeting - We have it in our bookstore here
No pre-reading required for our first meeting just have a general/basic understanding of the American Revolution.
Our microschool students will have read and discussed George vs George - The American Revolution As Seen From Both Sides. - We have it in our bookstore here
1-3 chapters of the book will need to be read inbetween meetings, as well as some novel study activities, and an ongoing project to share at the last meeting. We will read the last chapter, together, on February 5th.
Our last meeting we will share our projects and final thoughts.
