Calling all young scientists! Join scientists and educators from Maricopa County for a hands-on adventure investigating the air we breathe and the water we share.
In Dust Detectives, kids will sift real soil samples with the same tools air quality inspectors use in the field and discover how tiny bits of dust end up in the air. In Storm Drain Detectives, they’ll use an interactive EnviroScape model to follow pollution as rainwater flows through a town and learn easy ways to keep it out of our rivers and lakes.
Students will be grouped by age so every activity is the right fit, from our youngest explorers to older investigators. Kids will participate in both classes and leave with real science skills and simple ways to help keep our community clean and healthy.
Tuesday, December 22, 2026. The 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Free to attend. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
