You can select the class/course with the Registration/Add to Cart button and then check out through the shopping cart at the top right corner of your screen. That process does incur processing fees on our end. If you would like to help us save on transaction fees, you can pay via Zelle. Please click on the Payment Options button on the side for our QR code and infromation.
Please pay close attention to course dates. If you are interested in participating, you will need to register at least one week prior to the class starting. We will be working with our teachers at that time to see if enrollment warrants cutting off registration or possibly canceling the class. We appreciate your understanding

6/1 - Camp Invention ILLUMINATE!

Give your young innovator an inspiring, action-packed summer adventure! Exciting, hands-on challenges will spark curiosity and build their confidence as they jump into limitless STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fun with opportunities to imagine, experiment and create. INNOVATION-Gear up for sports and invention as you investigate the science of sports ball design, then personalize your own light-up game board. Get your creativity rolling to achieve your goal of being inducted into the Game of Fame!
PERSISTENCE-Shine bright as you use the science of light to create a customized Glow Box! Find inspiration from illuminating inventions and animals that glow to reveal a mystery behind a creature with a glowing feature.
PROBLEM SOLVING-Embark on an epic global operation to solve real-world water challenges! With help from your own robotic Lab-On-Wheels, explore water-based technology, then unlock sustainable design thinking by engineering a tiny house with crops.
CREATIVITY-Step into the Prototyping Studio to bring your big ideas to life! Mold and transform unique inventions as you uncover the many places world-changing inventors create, then protect your prototypes with the power of intellectual property.

6/15 - Mad Science (2 Classes)

Moving with Science!
Do you love to build, design and fix things? Are you curious about how a reaction happens? What is the true nature of birds and beasts? Campers explore activities in engineering, math, chemistry, and biology that they could encounter in their daily life. They will see just how natural science is in our world! This week-long class incorporates:
JR. ENGINEERS-Campers check out shapes and why they are so strong! They investigate arches, and geodesic domes. They discover why an egg’s shape is so strong and where to find this shape in buildings. Test loads and build some bridges to discover the wonder of structures.
MACHINE MANIA-This is the day to find out how wedges, screws, and levers help us with our daily lives. Campers use simple machines to complete different tasks like lifting weights and launching marshmallows. They run through an obstacle course and use teamwork to show how useful simple machines can be.
CRAZY CHEMISTRY-Campers become Mad Science chemists to learn about the chemistry found every day in our house and school. They discover how chemical reactions are everywhere and the clues to test when a chemical change has occurred. Campers mix, mush and brew together different chemicals in this creative outdoor chemistry lab.
THE BIRDS & THE BEASTS-Where do owls live and what do they eat? How do some bugs walk on water? How do ants collect all their food? Campers find ways to answer these and other questions with a walk on the wild side of things to explore owls, birds, and all kinds of bugs.
SHUTTERBUGS!-How does a camera work? What does a lens do? How are they similar to how our eyes work? Campers try to find the workings of a camera obscura and how the first types of film captured light and stored an image. Campers get first-hand experience as they leap from photography to moving pictures as they learn about motion pictures and filmmakers.

Robot Recruits!
Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! In this full week of half-days, learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time working on real robots. Discover the science of circuits, experiment with robotic sensors and program them to interact with your world! Use your skills to build your very own working robotic device to take home with you!
READY FOR ROBOTS-Children will explore the fundamentals of robotics and discover how robots are used through activities and games. They will begin to build their own robotic device that they will take home at the end of the week.
CIRCUIT SCIENCE-This program will explore the “nuts and bolts” of robots as children will build simple circuits, test for conductors and non-conductors, and discover how switches work. Children will connect their own mini circuits to take home.
USE YOUR COMMON SENSORS!-Children will explore the concept of sensors and discover what they enable a robot to learn about its environment. They will play games that involve their senses and do activities that involve communication. Children will make a circuit sensor to take home.
ROBOTS 101-Campers will learn about Asimov’s “Laws of Robotics” and applications of robotic technology in this fun-filled program. They will continue building their robotic device and make their own puppet robot to take home.
ADVANCED ROBOTICS-Children will complete the building of their robotic devices and spend time using their imaginations to create robot designs of their own. They will experiment with special robots that play soccer and discover how to program robots via a sequence of commands. Each child will take home their week-long build to continue their exploration of robotics at home.
If your child is in a grade 3-5, they can join us for lunch and receive a discount. More information to come.

7/13 - Camp Invention SPARK!

Inspire your young innovator with a one-of-a-kind summer adventure! Exciting, hands-on challenges will spark curiosity and build their confidence as they dive into limitless STEM fun full of opportunities to imagine, experiment and create. Your camper will experience:
INNOVATION-Your camper will make a splash in the world of innovation as they ride the exciting waves of entrepreneurship! From brainstorming bright ideas to pitching their own prototypes, they’ll dive into creativity while exploring the wonders of ocean science along the way.
CREATIVITY-Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure as your young explorer will launch a mission to find and prepare a brand-new planet for human life! They’ll use their creativity to invent clever tools to handle extreme conditions, reshape the terrain and breathe life into their exoplanet, transforming it into the next Earth.
PROBLEM SOLVING-Powered by the superpowers of the I Can Invent® Mindset, your camper will join forces with the Innovation Force® – real-life superhero inventors from the National Inventors Hall of Fame®! Together, they tackle tricky problems from their own backyards to far-off places, dreaming up bold new inventions while outsmarting the sneaky Infringers who are always trying to snatch their genius ideas!
PERSISTENCE-Get ready for some mystery-solving fun! Your young detective will put their investigation skills to the test as they crack a string of silly crimes, with help from a trusty team of robotic capybaras! They’ll follow puzzling footprints, gather tufts of fluffy fur, examine curious splatters and uncover all kinds of wacky clues along the way.

7/20 - LEGO MINECRAFT MASTERS
- Save the Date
Bring your favorite Minecraft adventures to life with our enthusiastic Play-Well instructors. In a Minecraft world powered by LEGO® resources, we will build shelters to keep out Creepers, craft mystical items that only true masters can wield, and perfect our crossbow skills to stop the Wither from taking over! If you can imagine it, we can build it.
